An energetic group of regulars and newcomers met Monday evening to discuss the first in the new series in the Sunday Gazette Mail's Monday Book Club, now into its fourth year.
The group of books on the theme of British mysteries began with a classic mystery, "The Moonstone" by Wilkie Collins. Many people have called this the first mystery, though some others are earlier, notably Poe's "Murders In the Rue Morgue."
