Sidmouth Amateur Dramatic Society is staging its autumn production at the Manor Pavilion Theatre next week.
Wilkie Collins' classic tale The Woman in White has been adapted for the stage by Constance Cox and maintains all the disturbing intrigue of the original text.
It's a moonlit night on Hampstead when Walter Hartright has a chance meeting with a mysterious woman dressed in white. Confused and agitated, she warns him against a certain aristocrat.
