There's a dark and mysterious thriller being offered as a Halloween treat this week by The Marlowe Players.
The drama group is returning to the Derby Playhouse Studio later this month for a production of The Woman in White by Constance Cox.
The story has been adapted from the famous Victorian novel by Wilkie Collins and should offer plenty of mystery and intrigue.
Originally written in 1860, the dark tale begins after a late night meeting between an artist, Walter Hartwright, and a ghostly woman who he rescues from her pursuers.
