Apr. 26--Upon hearing the name of Irish playwright Oscar Wilde, most of those familiar with his work think "prim and proper." Not so with "The Importance of Being Earnest," one of Wilde's later works.
"When it debuted in 1895, it was considered a perfect farce. Even though it is set in Victorian England, it's a very funny piece," said Randy Morris, who directs the Gallery Players' upcoming shows.
