She walked among the Trial Men
In a suit made by Versace
The fans all said the judge was just
A celeb-hating Nazi
But I never saw a girl who looked
So fond of paparazzi.
I never saw a girl who looked
With such an eager eye
Upon that little band of men
On whom the rich rely
And at every TV mic that passed
Insouciantly by.
I walked with other souls in pain
In penal convocation
And was wondering what the girl had done
To rate incarceration
When a voice behind me whispered low
"Violated her probation!"
The Warden said that Law was Law
And Paris no exception
Three blankets only ...
