A soon-to-be-published study has found that eating milk chocolate increases brain power and decreases reaction time. According to various online reports, Dr. Bryan Raudenbush and colleagues at the Wheeling (W.Va.) Jesuit University--so much for vows of asceticism--found that consumption of milk chocolate increased scores on a variety of neuropsychological and cognitive tests more than did intake of dark chocolate or nonconsumption of chocolate.
