Walt Whitman Elementary School PTO in Wheeling is now accepting applications for the Sara Uhrik Memorial Scholarship.
The scholarship is a tribute to the former Whitman student. Scholarship applicants must be college-bound high school seniors who attended Walt Whitman Elementary School for at least one year. One scholarship in the amount of $800 will be awarded for tuition, books or housing.
