WASHINGTON, Feb. 7 -- The House Government Reform Committee has received a communication from the Council of the District of Columbia.

The Chairman has transmitted, pursuant to law [D.C. Code section 1-233(c)(1)], a copy of D.C. ACT 16-233, "Walt Whitman Designation Act of 2005."
