Whatever accusations one can lob at Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?, being boring is definitely not one of them. It makes sense that the text was conceived by a gay playwright. There is definitely an observational remove in the play's examination of the heterosexual (now gay too) sanctity of marriage.
