Altarena huffs, puffs up excellent 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?'

AN OLD LATIN proverb asserts "In vino veritas," meaning, "In wine is found the truth." In the play "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" Altarena Playhouse's current offering, much stronger drink than wine brings about more than truth from its characters.

From the beginning to the end, the audience witnesses four adults getting more and more drunk. As they do, their basic ugliness surfaces.
