NEW YORK -- Marie Hugo, Victor Hugo's great-great-granddaughter, is ready to make her mark. Now, after living abroad for more than 20 years, Hugo has returned to her point of departure -- her family's property in the South of France -- where memories, history and lotus leaves are the backdrop for her most recent ink paintings.
