Cuba's dictator took time off during his tour of Venezuela to watch an exhibition baseball game between a Cuban squad and a Venezuelan team that included president Hugo Chavez.

The Cubans won 17-6 with Chavez going 0-for-3 at first base. After the contest late Saturday in Barquisimeto, Chavez-a 46-year-old left- hander-pitched to the 74-year-old Castro, whose baseball skills apparently have been overstated over the years.
