The Israel Museum has mounted a show of some 30 items from its collection of works by Auguste Rodin (1840-1917), on the occasion of the loan of a recent bronze casting of Rodin's massive Monument to Victor Hugo.

The museum has touted this loan (from the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Foundation of Los Angeles, which commissioned the casting from the Coubertin Foundry) as the first time this work has been seen outside of Paris.
