Survey says romantic flick can inspire love.

MANHATTAN --- Advice to the lovelorn from a famous 19th century poet: 'Tis better to have loved and lost/Than never to have loved at all.

Lord Alfred Tennyson's words might have carried some weight in the hit-or-miss Victorian Age, but this is a new millennium.

So how about it? Let us have some new strategies to increase the odds in the love department, something that really works. None of that old weepy stuff will do today, especially from some poet named Alfred, for crying out loud.
