Kolkata, Feb 7 -- For all admirers of poet laureate Rabindranath Tagore, this news could be music to the ears. Rabindrasangeet, as the ethereal songs of the Nobel prize winner are known worldwide, would go online.
This would not just be for listening pleasure but also to impart lessons on the music with all its nuances for learners.
"We started this project six months ago so that we can reach Rabindranath Tagore to the people outside this country through information technology while not compromising on its purity," said Visva Bharati University Vice Chancellor Sujit Kumar Basu.
