Dhaka, May 7 -- Bangladesh has announced a three-day national programme to celebrate the 145th birth anniversary of the world famous poet, Rabindranath Tagore, whose song is the national anthem of the country too.
The three-day programme, beginning on Monday, will be observed in Dhaka and other places, which are considered important due to Tagore's presence there during his time, M A Hye Hawlader, the additional secretary of the Cultural Affairs Ministry told a press conference on Saturday.
