Nobel Prize artist's work in city display

A GLASGOW arts venue is staging an exhibition of work by Nobel Prizewinning poet and artist Rabindranath Tagore.
His works include 1000 poems, two dozen plays and more than 2000 songs.
Tagore was born in Calcutta, India, in 1861 and died in 1941.
He was the first Asian to win the Nobel Prize in Literature, in 1913, and was also an acclaimed painter and social and religious reformer.
The exhibition will run at the Tramway's upper foyer gallery from August 30.
