West Virginia Poetry Society, Charleston Chapter, will celebrate the 146th anniversary of the birth of Rabindranath Tagore, the first Asian to receive the Nobel Prize, from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Dunbar Library. Tagore was a poet, novelist and educator. He was also an early advocate of independence for India.
