"WINE IS BOTTLED POETRY," Robert Louis Stevenson is supposed to have said. But it seems unlikely that the stereotypical convenience-store customer--young, male demographic and known for his purchases of beer and beef jerky--has an educated palate for wine or much of an appreciation for poems.
