David Jason fans will have wallowed in two whole hours of Diamond Geezer. Some of the rest of us may have twitched and stared at the clock. Jason is watchable in spades, and while playing Des, the limp- along stammering prison inmate - pushing his tea urn along the cell block, dishing out "char" - he pulled every trick from the actor's manual of exaggerated cliches.
