Literary and legal scholars, in their pursuit to make the disciplines of law and literature cross, have turned to the use of literary theory. However, its use not only showed the various rhetorical strategies by which the law controls its figural fluidity to remain objectively fixed, but also brought about legal argumentation on the literature's precedence over the law.
