Royal couple to be theatre patrons

THE Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall have accepted an invitation to be patrons of the Georgian Theatre Royal following their visit to Richmond in September.

It is the first joint patronage they have accepted since their marriage in April. The chairman of the Theatre Trust, Lady Crathorne, said "We are thrilled that their Royal Highnesses have agreed to accept our invitation. It is a very great honour that is enormously valued by us all."
