LONDON (AP) _ The campaigning before next month's referendum on the Northern Ireland peace accord will pit some of the province's most pro-British politicians against British political leaders.

In the run-up to the May 22 vote, Protestant hard-liners in Northern Ireland are arguing vehemently against the agreement, saying it threatens Northern Ireland's union with the United Kingdom.
