BELFAST, Northern Ireland (AP) _ Leaders of the Protestant Orange Order met with Prime Minister Tony Blair today but found no solution to a showdown over a blocked march that has triggered five nights of violence in Northern Ireland.
Hours earlier, police blocking the Protestant marchers at a rural church field fired plastic bullets to repel protesters who briefly broke through a security line. No injuries were reported.
