Allegations that secret loans were made to Prime Minister Tony Blair's Labour Party in the run-up to the 2005 British national election will be investigated, the party's treasurer said Wednesday.
Jack Dromey said he had launched an inquiry because he and other party officials had not been told about the loans _ which are at the center of claims the government administered honors in return for financial backing.
The party must "put its house in order" and make sure elected officers are never again "kept in the dark," ...
