Pianist Leon McCawley comes to Birmingham tomorrow having already made several successful visits to the city.
'Birmingham has some terrific concert halls, especially Symphony Hall, and it is always a special occasion for me whenever I play there,' he tells me.
'The audience's concentration level is so impressive that one can almost hear a pin drop! I performed most recently Barber's Piano concerto with the CBSO and Sakari Oramo back in January which was a great thrill to play. I look forward to working again with Oramo and CBSO in February ...
