Composer Steve Chatman will be 30,000 feet up in the sky, on his way home to Vancouver after a six-month sabbatical in England, at the very moment that Barnt Green Choral Society performs one of his works in its Christmas concert at South Bromsgrove High School.

Make a Wish for Me on Christmas, with lyrics by Chatman's wife, Tara Wohlberg, was one of the first products of the couple's residency in Blackwell, the charming Lickey Hills village on the outskirts of Bromsgrove.
