Peter Donohoe officially celebrates his 50th birthday with a solo recital at Symphony Hall tonight, but the anniversary itself is already past.
'It was on June 18 and I spent it giving a Wigmore Hall recital of the complete Rachmaninov Preludes, followed by a night of celebration with Elaine and my friends and managers in London,' he says.
Elaine is Peter Donohoe's wife, pianist Elaine Burns, and together with their daughter they live in Solihull.
