When organist Paul Carr gives his 100th recital at Cradley Heath Methodist Church at lunchtime on Saturday, he will have walked 3,600 paces to and from the organ console.

His wife Hannah will have turned over approximately 2,900 pages for him, and more than 3,000 rolls and quite a few litres of soup will have been served during the pre-concert lunches.
