There's quite a week in store for lovers of the solo piano, beginning tonight when the stunning Russian virtuoso Evgeny Kissin makes one of his welcome visits to Symphony Hall (8pm).

Highlight of the recital is bound to be the hair-raising solo piano transcription of Stravinsky's orchestral showpiece ballet, Petrushka.
