With regard to Jane Vandenburgh's review of two books about Edna St. Vincent Millay and her poetry (Books, Sept. 16): I am writing as a longtime teacher, reader, and student of poetry in English and five other languages. I am not particularly fond of Millay's poetry, but I am interested in reading informative and enlightening book reviews, positive or negative.
