I read the articles on "Maine Women in History" and was particularly interested in the article on Edna St. Vincent Millay. My grandfather went to school with Millay, and his sister, my great aunt, was great friends with her sister Norma Millay and kept in touch with her until they passed away.
My grandfather graduated in 1909 with Millay from Camden High School. My uncle has a graduation picture of his father and Millay standing in front of the old Camden High School.
