Four musicals and an original drama about poet Edna St. Vincent Millay are among this week's new productions.

--JOHNNY GUITAR, THE MUSICAL, an off-Broadway send-up of the 1954 Western-noir film, opens the Grand Theatre's 2007-08 season on Friday and continues through Sept. 29.

The original movie starred Joan Crawford as Vienna, owner of a saloon; Mercedes McCambridge as Emma Small, who owns the bank and half the small frontier town; and Sterling Hayden as drifter- gunslinger Johnny "Guitar" Logan.
