Guilford College's Theatre Studies Department will present Christopher Marlowe's "Doctor Faustus" as the final offering in its 1996-1997 season. Performances will be held Friday and Saturday April 18-19, and again April 24-26 in Sternberger Auditorium. All shows begin at 8 p.m.
The production continues the department's tradition of staging classic drama in a contemporary setting. "Doctor Faustus," a 16th century Elizabethan tragedy, is the story of a scholar who gives his soul to the devil in exchange for magical powers.
