David Riggs is a widely traveled lecturer and professor of English at Stanford University. His first book was "Ben Jonson: A Life." "The World of Christopher Marlowe" is a most scholarly work. The notes and index run to 50 pages. I am glad I read it and even more glad that I have finished it.
