Dramatic Characters
King Edward The Second: King of England. A man by temper unfit to rule as
he dotes upon flatterers such as Gaveston.
Prince Edward: The King's son who is later crowned Edward III.
Earl Of Kent: Brother of Edward the Second; he deserts the rebels in a
desperate attempt to save his brother's life.
Gaveston: The flattering favorite of the King who draws the ire and wrath
of the rebellious nobles.
