Tragical History Of Doctor Faustus: Act V

Act V: Scene One

The scene opens with thunder and lightning, and devils carry in covered
dishes. Mephistophilis leads the devils into Faustus's study. Wagner enters,
and after Faustus wills him his wealth, Wagner is convinced that the great
Doctor is about to die. Faustus now feasts with the scholars, and the First
Scholar tells Faustus that the scholars have decided that Helen of Greece was
the fairest woman who ever lived and that they now wish Faustus to make it
