Tragical History Of Doctor Faustus: Act III
Act III: Prologue
The Prologue provides a body of narrative material concerning what
Faustus does with his magical powers. To prove "the secrets of astronomy,"
Faustus has flown through the heavens, and "to prove cosmography" he has
surveyed the coasts and kingdoms of the earth. Finally, Faustus comes to Rome
to see the Pope and to take part in "Peter's feast."
