May 1--EDMOND -- A commercial rezoning request for 30 acres at Covell and Sooner roads was stymied last week by Councilman Charles Lamb.

Lamb's "no" vote blocked approval of an emergency clause needed to move forward on the rezoning process for applicant Mike Galiga, a key player in a huge retail, office and entertainment complex planned for three corners of Interstate 35 and Covell Road.
