Council to consider convention center study.

Jan. 7--EDMOND -- City leaders will consider ordering another hotel and convention center feasability study at Monday's meeting of the Edmond City Council.

They also will discuss spending $410,000 to build a downtown storm-water detention center.

Councilman Charles Lamb said the storm-water facility would be used to correct a flooding problem on the east side of the railroad tracks. The $410,000 would be used to acquire the land and easements needed for the detention center, he said.
