$5,000 reward in 14th St. shooting

Amoco Oil Corporation is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the fatal shooting of 60-year-old Charles Lamb, coowner of the Amoco gas stations at 1617 -14 St. N.W.

The gas station is located across the street from the Washington AFRO-American Newspaper office and John Wesley AME Zion Church.

The suspect is described as a Black male in his early to mid 30s, 5 feet 10 inches tall with a slim build. He was ...
