Reg Bradley read the Rudyard Kipling book a couple of times, then watched the rash of recent movies, including two animated versions and two with real actors and animals.
But the “Jungle Book” he saw on film wasn’t the one he conjured in his mind while thumbing through the pages of Kipling’s classic.
“They just don’t tell the real story of Mowgli,” he said. “Mowgli’s story is about growing up and finding his place.”
