Reedman Germán Velazco and bassist Jorge Reyes formed their all-star band to record Latin Jazz: LIVE from Cuba, recorded at the Karl Marx Theater in 2004. The sextet format works extremely well, with the backing of pianist Emilio Morales, drummer Osmany Sánchez and percussionists Add González and Yaroldis Abreu.
