KARL MARX, the champion of the oppressed, is to become a confirmed toff. For the 19th century thinker, whose writings inspired the Communist revolutions in Russia and China, looks set to be included in the next edition of Burke's Peerage .

Marx would qualify for entry to Burke's , the studbook of the upper classes, courtesy of his wife Jenny von Westphalen.
