Chittenango resident Meghan Patterson,***Class of 2004, has been inducted into the Irving Bacheller Society, the English department honorary society at St. Lawrence University, Canton.

Students accepted for membership in the society must have either completed four English courses and maintained a 3.5 grade point average in English (based on a perfect 4.0 scale), or completed six English courses with at least a 3.25 grade point average in English and a 3.0 overall grade point average.
