Sometimes there are pathways in our lives that suddenly intersect, and at the intersection we discover all sorts of new directions and possibilities.
There is a fairy tale in Sri Lanka about an ancient time when that land was known as Serendip. It seems there were three princes of Serendip who kept stumbling by luck into fortunate discoveries. It was Horace Walpole in 1754 who coined a word to describe such good luck.
He called it "serendipity."
In today's supposedly more sophisticated and scientifically advanced world, we don't speak much about luck. We talk about "probabilities." ...
