Holland House,
Kensington, London, built at the beginning of the 17th cent. In 1767 it was acquired by Henry Fox, first baron Holland, who entertained Horace Walpole and George Selwyn there. In the time of his grandson, the third baron (1773–1840), Holland House became a great political, literary, and artistic centre, and many eminent authors, such as Sheridan , T. Moore , T.
