New Haven, Conn. -- Distinguished Yale professor and celebrated literary critic Harold Bloom will receive the Hans Christian Andersen Award 2005 in Odense, Denmark, on April 2 in an event to launch a year-long 200th birthday celebration for the city's most famous native son and the world's most beloved story-teller.
