Chilean novelist Isabel Allende on Tuesday was added to the list of international celebrities named as goodwill ambassadors for the upcoming Hans Christian Andersen bicentennial celebrations.
Allende, whose books include "The House of the Spirits," "Of Love and Shadows," and "Eva Luna," will be officially tapped by Denmark's Crown Prince Frederik during a Sept. 30 ceremony at the Knights' Hall in the downtown Rosenborg Castle.
