The largest known paper cutting ever made by Hans Christian Andersen
that eventually was pasted into a first edition by the Danish fairy
tale writer was sold for 520,000 kroner (US$69,000) at an auction
Monday.
The Copenhagen-based Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers of Fine Art had estimated the cutting and the first edition to be worth as much as 150,000 kroner (US$20,000).
